By using this website, submitting a health intake, purchasing a program, or otherwise using Ascendra Wellness services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before you order. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Effective date: 1 September 2026
1. Who we are
VCG Healthcare Inc., doing business as Ascendra Wellness, operates an online platform that helps eligible clients connect with independent licensed healthcare providers and licensed pharmacies.
We are not a medical practice, a physician, a pharmacy, or a dispensing facility. We do not diagnose conditions, decide on treatment, write prescriptions, compound medication, or dispense or ship prescription products. Those things are done by the independent professionals and facilities described below.
2. Who can use our services, and where
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
Our services are available only in states where our partner providers and pharmacies are licensed. As of the effective date above, we serve patients in all U.S. states except those listed below.
We do not currently serve Alaska or Hawaii. If you are located in a state we do not serve, we cannot provide services to you, and any order placed from that location will be cancelled and refunded.
You must tell us and your provider your true physical location at the time of each medical interaction. Your location determines which laws apply and whether a provider may treat you at all.
3. Independent licensed providers make the medical decisions
All medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment recommendation and prescribing is done by independent licensed healthcare providers, not by Ascendra Wellness.
Clinical services are provided by Beluga Health. If a provider treats you, the professional relationship is between you and that provider — not between you and Ascendra Wellness.
We cannot instruct, influence or overrule a provider's medical judgment. We cannot require any provider to approve you, to prescribe a particular medication, or to prescribe a particular dose or formulation.
4. Ordering does not guarantee a prescription
Completing an intake form, paying a fee, selecting a program, or speaking with a provider does not mean you will receive a prescription or a medication.
Every prescription depends on:
- a licensed provider reviewing your medical information and deciding treatment is appropriate for you;
- verification of your identity and physical location;
- federal and state law;
- a pharmacy accepting the prescription and having the medication available.
Your provider may decline to treat you, ask for more information, require laboratory testing, recommend a different treatment, require an in-person examination, refer you elsewhere, or stop treatment at any point if they judge that appropriate.
5. Telehealth: consent and limits
Care may be delivered by secure messaging, electronic questionnaire, telephone, video, photographs, submitted records, or other methods permitted by law. By using our services you consent to receiving care this way.
Telehealth has real limits. A provider working remotely cannot perform a physical examination, and some conditions cannot be safely assessed without one. Your provider may decide that telehealth is not appropriate for you and direct you to in-person care.
You are responsible for giving complete and truthful information about your health, your medications and supplements, your allergies, your medical history, whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and where you are located. Incomplete or untrue information can lead to unsafe treatment.
6. Compounded medications
Depending on your provider's judgment and what is available, your treatment may involve an FDA-approved medication or a compounded medication.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are marketed. Formulations, concentrations, ingredients, packaging and instructions can differ between pharmacies and between prescriptions.
Always follow the instructions given by your prescribing provider and the dispensing pharmacy, not general information on this website.
7. Pharmacies and fulfilment
Prescriptions are sent to an independent licensed pharmacy. Our pharmacy partners are The Pharmacy Hub and WES Digital.
The dispensing pharmacy — not Ascendra Wellness — is responsible for reviewing and accepting the prescription, compounding or dispensing it, labelling and packaging it, storing it correctly, shipping it, and providing pharmacy counselling.
We cannot guarantee that a pharmacy will accept a prescription, that a medication will be in stock, or that any particular processing or delivery time will be met.
8. Using medication safely
All medications carry risks, including side effects, allergic reactions and interactions with other drugs.
You agree to use medication only as prescribed to you, follow your provider's and pharmacy's instructions, store it as directed and out of reach of children, and never share, sell or transfer it to anyone else. Tell your provider promptly about side effects or changes in your health, and do not change your dose or add another treatment without speaking to them first.
Do not use any medication that arrives damaged, tampered with, mislabelled, or that appears to have been stored improperly. Contact the dispensing pharmacy and our support team immediately.
9. Emergencies
We do not provide emergency care and we do not monitor patients continuously.
If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use our website, contact form, email, support chat or refill system to report an emergency — no one is watching those channels around the clock.
If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the United States to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
10. No guaranteed results
Results vary between individuals. We do not guarantee that you will be approved for treatment, that any particular medication or dose will be prescribed, that you will lose weight or lose any particular amount of weight, that symptoms will improve, that a medication will remain available, or that you will experience any specific outcome.
Any testimonial, review, photograph or client story on our website reflects one person's individual experience. It is not a prediction of your result and it is not a promise.
11. Prices, fees and when you are charged
The price of each program is shown on its page before you order. Prices are set by Ascendra Wellness and may change.
The price shown for each program includes the medical consultation. There is no separate consultation fee, and the full price is disclosed before you complete your order.
You are not charged until a licensed provider has reviewed your information and approved treatment. If a provider does not approve treatment, no payment is taken.
Our services are self-pay. We do not bill insurance, and we cannot guarantee that your insurance, HSA or FSA will reimburse you.
12. Refunds and cancellation
You may cancel an order at any time before a provider has reviewed your intake, for a full refund.
Once services have been performed or a prescription has been sent to a pharmacy, fees for those services are generally non-refundable to the extent the law allows. This includes completed medical evaluations, prescriptions submitted for fulfilment, compounded or personalised medication, and medication that has been dispensed or shipped.
For safety and legal reasons, prescription medication cannot be returned or resold once it has left the pharmacy, even if unopened.
If a product arrives damaged, incorrect or defective, contact us at info@ascendrawellness.com within 7 days and we will work with the pharmacy to resolve it.
Nothing here removes refund or cancellation rights that the law does not allow us to waive.
13. Subscriptions and recurring charges
Programs are supplied on a recurring basis. Some are billed monthly; others are supplied as a three-month fulfilment and billed on that cycle. The price, the billing frequency, what is included and how to cancel are shown before you enrol, and by enrolling you authorise those recurring charges until you cancel.
You can cancel through your account or by contacting support. Cancelling stops future renewals if you do it before the next billing date. It does not automatically refund a charge that has already been processed or recall a prescription already sent to the pharmacy.
14. Shipping
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Medication ships from the dispensing pharmacy, not from us.
You are responsible for giving a complete and accurate delivery address, tracking your shipment, collecting temperature-sensitive packages promptly, inspecting them on arrival, and storing medication as instructed.
15. Website content is not medical advice
Everything on our website — program descriptions, articles, FAQs, social media posts, emails and messages from our non-clinical support staff — is general information only.
It is not medical advice, it is not tailored to you, and it is not a substitute for evaluation by a licensed provider. Do not start, stop, change or combine any medication based on it.
16. Privacy and communications
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Our partner providers and pharmacies maintain their own privacy practices and may give you separate notices about how they handle your health information.
By using our services you agree to receive electronic records and service messages about your account, orders, payments, prescriptions, refills, shipping and safety.
Marketing messages are separate and optional. Agreeing to marketing is never a condition of purchase, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
17. Things you may not do
You may not give false identity, location, payment or health information; obtain medication for someone other than yourself; share, sell, transfer or resell medication; alter a prescription or a medication label; use someone else's account; or use our services for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or close your account if we reasonably believe any of this has happened.
18. Our responsibility, and its limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, Ascendra Wellness is not responsible for the independent medical judgment, acts or omissions of licensed providers or of independent pharmacies.
We are also not responsible for medication shortages, pharmacy processing times, shipping carrier delays, inaccurate information you give us, misuse of medication, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Our liability for our own non-clinical services is limited to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms removes liability for our own fraud or wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
19. Disputes
If something goes wrong, contact us first at info@ascendrawellness.com and give us a fair chance to put it right. We ask that you allow at least 30 days to resolve a dispute informally before starting a formal claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, except where federal law or consumer protections in your own state apply instead.
Nothing here prevents you from exercising any right that cannot legally be waived.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services, partners or legal obligations change. The current version is always posted here with its effective date, and we will give additional notice or ask for renewed agreement where the law requires it.
